listed along Sagna and Cesc as one of 3 world class players currently in our team who would walk into the invincibles team.

Don´t know about that! You would have Cesc ahead of PV4 in a 4-4-1-1? And Nasri ahead of Pires? Hmmmm...

Lol, not the kind of recognition usually sort :eek:ops:

Thank god for the anonymity of the internet!

In all seriousness, the only aspect Im interested in in Samir (or any AFC player) is how well they play for our team.

Sorry mate, couldn't pass on that one. ;)

I say nasri is ahead of Ljungberg and Cesc would probably play alongside Vieira, replacing gilberto or edu. :)

It's a dream of course...

Glad Nasri's performances are being recognised.
He deserved that.

He'll stay with us.

I read an article (can't find it right now) in which he said he loves playing alongside technical players - Ribery at Marseille, Cesc at Arsenal.
You can tell he is really enjoying his football here at the moment.

I hope that Wenger takes care of this. It always worries me when a player has one year left.

Back to some Nasri analysis...

There seems to be a little bit of an ineffectual trend developing against the better, more organised defences like Manure, City (when they want to) and early season Chelsea. His performances have been almost identical as far as ambition goes, or lack of it.

Still think his best position is down the centre, for me - especially against the better defences, where he can go off, or shoot with either foot.

I don't want him so sign in the summer. I want him to sign NOW!!! We can't have another Flamini situation happening. :(

We need to keep the Theo van Nasregas together!

He ain't as good down the middle as Cesc! So if you play him with Song & Cesc in midfield who do we play on the left? Arshavin? Many would say the little Russky does not warrant a 1st team start right now.

I agree he has been rather ineffectual against MAN & Chelsea this season. But the great players only needed a flash of inspiration........

Had no idea Nasri only had a year left. After all those contract extensions last year, you would have thunk they would have settled his contract as well. He has every right to take us to the cleaners now to be honest.

Oh well. As long as he stays.

I'm only a recent supporter of Arsenal, were our previous best good against the other good teams? Such as Henry? Bergkamp?

Arsenal Quotes

Arsenal have got as much chance of being handed the title by Sp*rs as I have of being given the Crown Jewels. They are the last people we want winning the Championship. Now we mean to round off our season by beating Arsenal.
