The ideal scenario would be Chambers and Holding on loan get rid of Gabriel and Debuchy bring in Van Dijk. Mertesacker retires at the end of the season they're both brought back then Monreal leaves at the end of 18/19.

That to me leaves us in a very strong position. But it won't happen.
