Great to see Blind wishlisted - he's one of my fave Ajax players - but he's not moving anytime soon. Just signed a new long term contract, won't force his way out.

17m opening bid =

I'd rather sign Aurier and have BFG in his ear all game to keep him on a short leash re his positioning and awareness/concentration when not in possession.

For that matter I'd also rather buy Cuadrado for than money.

Khedira / Gustavo / De Jong / Schneiderlin?
If De Jong is 'cheap' enough we should also target Rabiot to take over in 2-3 seasons.

To throw a new one out there...

Ricardo Rodriguez.

Note that this is based on his season with Wolfsburg and not just his game today :p .

In regards to Arteta it's the same for his passing and distribution, always around the 90% mark for accuracy and plays a high amount of long balls. Going to be tough to find someone who can match that plus add more strength, height and tackling ability.

I was going to put a few names there linked in the press but really thinking about it I found it hard to imagine any of them working in a team like ours that has so many forward runners, look how isolated Arteta is when Ramsey plays so high up the pitch.

Even looking at France with the midfield of Matuidi, Pogba, Cabaye, if that midfield high press is breached, the whole defence is exposed.

Everyone raves about Luis Gustavo but really in the game against Croatia I wasn't impressed, very conservative passing, didn't impose himself. I'd rate Ramsey as a better DM than him.

Not sure who Wenger wants, wouldn't suprise me if he decides to develop his own, get someone with great physical attributes and try to teach them the role, a quick learner. Would have liked to see William Carvalho for Portugal.

Could Pogba and Ramsey play in a two? Both put in a high defensive shift but also like to go foward.

Pogba
Greizmann
Sanchez
Balotelli

Obvisouly would mean a few outs like Cazorla etc

Juventus asked for £60m for Pogba when Man Utd inquired. He's not going anywhere this summer, but he can be had for cheaper next season since his contract will be running down, and he's definitely not signing a new one.

I want him to be our big target next summer.

Young players need freedom of expression to develop as creative players... they should be encouraged to try skills without fear of failure.
