They're showing old Chelsea/Barca games on my coverage. Those games 10-15 years ago were legendary. Ronaldinho, Eto'o, Puyol, Lampard, Terry etc. are iconic at their clubs. Teams had much more character then, you associated teams with certain individuals. Mourinho/Chelsea, Fergie/Utd, Rafa/Liverpool, Wenger/Arsenal obviously. The same with key loyal players who stayed at those clubs for a long time. Absurd amounts of money and expectation have killed that association between certain people/characters and clubs. It's rare that a manager or a top player would stay more than 3-4 seasons at a big club, outside of top players at the superclubs.
