He never seemed like a Conte signing at all. Similarly to when Chelsea signed Barkley, Conte rarely ever plays with attacking midfielders. Usually a combination of box-to-box, defensive midfielders and regista's. If you play in Conte's midfield, expect to be doing a lot of running, you're not gonna get that from someone like Eriksen, even if he did all that it'd be a waste. Such a bad career move in hindsight. Would probably still be in with a shout of starting at Sp**s too.
