So is the window closed now?
Yes but teams have until 19:00 to finalise transfers if they submitted deal sheets to the PL in time.

Happened with Lassana Diarra in 2007, the window shut but the club was able to complete the deal and announce it a few hours after.

I’ve got a funny story to cheer up those that are sad it’s the end of the transfer window.

I’m on the train home from work and a bloke is watching sky sports deadline day live. Ends up watching the Sp**s then closes the stream. I’m thinking bit weird but whatever.

But then, I kid you not, he opens google and types in ‘Sp**s season ticket refund’ and clicks on the FAQs. Poor guy has spent more on his club than they have on the team!

Arshavin too if I'm not mistaken. Although that was in January

Arsenal Quotes

Arsenal was firmly embedded in the local community and had a very solid, working-class foundations. The fans espoused the club's values. This visceral attachment, from childhood, to a club and a team is something I have never seen anywhere else with such fervour. Every fan's first match at Highbury was like a baptism.
