Pretty sure Saka won't get a call for the final squad.

The squad is to stacked with talents and many performed better than him this season.
I think he might make it because it's a 26-man squad instead of the usual 23. The thing that favors Saka as a squad member for a tournament is his versatility. He's done decent-to-great jobs at LB, LWB, LW, LCM, RWB and RW. Still up in the air, though.

No Dier or Bamford is big surprises. Ramsdale is included for what reason? Guy is absolutely poor.

Rice-Henderson-Mount is pretty solid considering what's ahead of them. The GK and the CBs are the real worries for England.

From what I've seen of Chelsea, Mount isn't as good in a deeper role. We're probably better giving Bellingham that role. There must also be a temptation to start Ward-Prowse for his set pieces.

Depends on the formation. If it's a double pivot with Rice and Henderson, Mount gets to play between the lines as a ten.

Should be good tournament anyway. Think that Italy,Netherlands and Belgium can do something good there.

Some of Spain,Germany and England will choke.

Would be happy with that but also surprised considering Southgate shunned the likes of Maddison and Grealish for a long time because he didn't want to play with a #10.

Portugal got very talented team but again Ronaldo will control them and they won't play with much freedom.

That's very mediocre. None of them keep and use the ball well. Rice and Henderson is overkill, play on of them and Mount is decent but you need someone who can use the ball well in deep positions. It's been England's major downfall for years. Ever since they neglected Carrick and didn't use Scholes right.

Arsenal Quotes

I knew we were very different, that he (Ferguson) had a total hold over his club while at that time I was still more of a coach. I also recognised his huge qualities. He knew how to surround himself with the right people and didn't rest on his laurels when he was successful.
