Ahead of Arsenal’s FA Cup clash with Burnley this afternoon, @DanGaleaStJohn has selected his ideal line-up.

GK: David Ospina
Wenger has already made it clear that Ospina will be starting this game ahead of Cech. Ospina’s last game came against Olympiacos, where his blunder virtually cost Arsenal the game. But his form last season is enough to show us that the Olympiacos game was probably a one off.

RB: Hector Bellerin
With Debuchy leaving, and Chambers likely to start in midfield, I find no option but to start Bellerin here. Wenger did say that he did not want to change the team to much, so Bellerin should start.

LB: Kieran Gibbs
Gibbs deserves a start. Monreal has been Arsenal’s best player of 2016 in my opinion (though the team has largely under performed this month). This is Gibbs’ chance to prove himself.

CB: Laurent Koscielny and Gabriel
With Mertesacker suspended, then the only centre back pairing available is of these two.

CDM: Calum Chambers
I really like Chambers in this position. I do not expect Coquelin to start straight away, so I expect Chambers to get some valuable minutes under his belt.

CM: Mohamed Elneny
I hope we will finally get to see Elneny’s debut. I think that Wenger was right not to play him in the Stoke/Chelsea games, because of his relative raw-footedness in the league. This is the optimal scenario for him to get his debut (no disrespect to Burnley)

CAM: Aaron Ramsey
I would play Rosicky in this position, but I think he will start off on the bench. This is Ramsey’s chance to prove that he can operate as an attacking midfielder, a position which he failed to impress in when he last played here.

LW: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
thought that Chamberlain came off of the bench with a lot of energy against Chelsea. He desperately needs a goal, and hopefully he will get one to boost his confidence.

RW: Alex Iwobi
I am not sure if Wenger will start him, but Iwobi is a very interesting player who has featured a few times lately. He was one of the brighter players in the last round against Sunderland. If he does not start, then Sanchez or Campbell will probably start of him, thought I expect Sanchez to start.

ST: Theo Walcott
Walcott’s performances have dwindled spectacularly of late. I would actually give him a run in this position in the FA cup. After all, one of his best performances as a centre forward came in the FA cup against tottenham (the same game in which he sustained that long term injury).
