He's dire in more ways than one, but it looks like he's all we have at the moment, god help us.

He was on the pitch 20 mins and committed 4 fouls. More than any other Arsenal player last night.

The first yellow was completely unnecessary though, throwing his body around and then giving the referee loads of chat just like Zagreb last year. Made it so easy for the ref.

Some Refs seem to have it in for him, they can't wait to card him. Maybe he needs to learn to be a bit more respectful to them, rather than whining like a little girl about everything.

And his beard is starting to need a trim.

In all fairness to the whiney Giroud he gets some ****ed up calls against him and wrongly gets penalized when tussling with opposition defenders.

Actually the problem is that we don't do as a team, easy to card players when your only confronted by one.

Alexis and Giroud are the only ones that usually put pressure on refs to give cards/fouls. It's not pretty but every other team does it.

He does so many unnoticed and under appreciated things so well one has to admit. Even in the Soton game after the goal he ran back to left back to protect Nacho. He almost never hides from taking responsibility.

A whiner and moaner, yeh but suspect some of them penalizing wouldn't happen if he was Looney and even JvP used to be a thundercvnt. They didn't run their mouth off constantly like Giroud does tho which makes it tempting for the ref I suppose.
