The more I see him post the more I believe it actually is his cousin. Nobody can be that delusional, surely?

To be honest after Liverpool and Sp**s at home last year , I really thought that Xhaka/Torreira was potentially the best midfield partnership in the league .

Perez was after Vardy turned us down. To be fair to the club a hard situation as Vardy made us wait more than a month & his buyout far lower than market value. Left us chasing a forward with what looked like not enough funds budgeted.

Mustafi we negotiated for a while with Valencia just a **** up rather than panic buy.
Raul would have made vardy wait for only to dump his ass and go for aubameyang. The ugly **** would be fighting for relegation in the Estonian tractor league

Xhaka is thoroughly and painfully average and you'll struggle to find a football fan outside of these forums who would disagree with that statement.

He's not fit to lace the boots of some of the midfielders we have had at our club in the past. Anybody who thinks he's amazing has clearly only started supporting us over the last 5-10 years.

Fabregas
Gilberto
Parlour
Petit
Edu
Cazorla
Viera

No two players on that list are alike and I can probably name more, but they are all what I'd consider some of our best midfielders.

There are arguable a few players who were just as good if not better than Xhaka in spells here as well.

Flamini, Song, Diaby, Wilshere, Arteta.

Arteta might have been the most underrated player in Arsenal history. Such a consistently good player that fans use to hate on for some reason, made me upset seeing so many had no clue about a brilliant footballer.

It's harsh on the fans though.

Arteta was a quality level below from Cesc. He is obviously better than what we currently have, but we stopped consistently dominating games against top teams when Fabregas left. During 07-11, we used to control every game in midfield, home or away.

I really liked Arteta, but it's hard to switch from world class quality to very good (just as it is hard to switch from very good to average).

All this arguing but the guys only played one game this season and had a 6/10 game overall.

How about we just see how the season pans out? He’s improved every season he’s been here. All this debating could turn out to be crying over spilt milk.

I didn't see the game but some were saying it was like 2 or 3/10 in the first half. Away against Newcastle. Against Newcastle. Such performance against Liverpool or City and we just get destroyed.

I actually think he regressed last season. I didn't feel he was so sloppy in his first season here. I felt nervous every time he had the ball last season. Maybe it just me... He has improved on not getting as many cards I think. But he has some very silly fouling in him still. Bad in defense too!

We shall see. For me this season is his last chance.

You are looking at it all wrong

It is not Xhaka isnt Good enough for us
We are not Good enough for Xhaka

A big team, a properly organized and formated team can afford to play rolespecialists with speciallity skills

Except he struggles with consistency at his own specialty.
He is what he is: top 3 at Swiss level, top 3 at Borussia Mon and arguably top 5-8 in an Arsenal that has been failing miserably for its standards.
For ambitions greater than that, we need to improve on him.

We have already seen how three seasons panned out. You need to see one more season to confirm the fact?

Improved from 3/10 to 4/10 and then a 4.5/10. Perhaps he can finally reach a 5/10 this season.

From Vieira to Xhaka. Bergkamp help us.

I think he's a self aware troll who's trying to trigger people

Now a serious question, what would someone from Bangladesh, India and South Africa know about football? Do you even have football there?

One thing I know, Bangladesh has a very funny name, congrats.

Seriously. I always used Bangladesh as a funny response when someone asked me where I am from. No hard feelings.

Arsenal Quotes

When Patrick Vieira came over from AC Milan, he didn’t know a word of English. We gave him accommodation, phone, car and an English teacher. I talked to Patrick in fluent French and before a game I asked in French, can you speak a bit of English to me? Patrick nodded and replied: Tottenham are shit!
