Nobody knows. Players have contracts too, won’t be easy to kick them out.

You would think Luiz and Sok with their regular mistakes are done.
I understand that but I think it depends on the style of football Arteta wants to play, get us playing. I wonder if he'll bring in any backup City players eventually though.

I love this appointment for multiple reasons. Its fresh, its exciting and its for the future.

It is risky, you can't deny that. It could go either way, he could easily become the next big thing in managerial terms or he could flop. You have to bare in mind the scale of the job, however it could make Arsenal... Arsenal again. And I am excited.

People from AFTV are saying its a poor appointment as he has no pedigree. **** the people who are saying that, you don't need pedigree to be a specialist in a certain field. Experience is a factor, but lets do this Mikel.

Crazy how negative some are on here about Arteta, if he's who the board see as our best option then we all need to back the man.
In all honesty, he wasn't my first choice but if he's made the manager of this club then I'll support him until I have a valid reason not too.
Would love to see us playing great football and winning games under the management of a former player.

No other top club in the world would hire Arteta.

But I guess that's why they're top clubs.

No other top club would have hired Pep Guardiola when Barcelona did. Or Zidane when Real Madrid did. If not for their identification with the clubs, they would not have been considered. Sometimes your old club calls on you.

When Arteta retired, I said I could envision him as a future Arsenal manager. I just didn't envision it happening this soon. I still would have preferred he manage elsewhere first to get some experience, but it's also a gamble that could pay off with great results for Arsenal.

One advantage Arteta might have right now is that by analyzing Arsenal from the other side to figure out how to shred them to pieces, he also could have an idea of how to tighten things up a bit. We can only hope. In any case, if -- as looks likely -- Arteta is the next coach, he should have the full support of every Arsenal fan.

There's a minute on the clock left for Arenal. Brady for Arsenal.... right across, Sunderland... IT'S THERE! I do not believe it, I SWEAR I do not believe it!
