It is difficult to define "best"...best at what really? It is a different role to break-up play, shield the back four and be efficient with distributing the ball, than being a creative midfielder.

Santi was easily the most enjoyable to watch however.

Cesc? He wasn’t even here the past decade.

Santi, great footballer, but Ramsey was undoubtedly a better player.

AM is not worth reading when it comes to Ramsey though.
Hold on not Mesut? Your boy doesnt even get a mention?? Wow

Santi all day long followed by Rambo.

My list is based off players at their peak for us, and how much of an effect they subsequently had on the team:
1. Santi
2. Ramsey
3. Arteta
4. Özil
5. Rosicky
6. Wilshere

No one else has really done enough to deserve a mention. I guess honourable mention goes to Le Coq because I did like him.

Santi over Özil

You’ll never see this sort of stuff outside AM.

When did Mesut become my boy btw? Ramsey and Arteta are two of my fave midfielders of the last 10 years. I was an Ox fan too, and Jack etc. Mesut is one of many players I appreciate.

Despite playing fewer games, he gave us more great games than Özil ever did.

He was a more complete player than Özil. He always had a smile on his face. He didn't sulk

Without a question it's Santi. He was very consistent & showed his class in so many matches. Had such a good attitude compared to a few others aswell which helps in his favour. After I'll go with...

1. Cazorla
2. Özil
3. Arteta
4. Rosicky
5. Ramsey.

Ramsey would have been close to getting higher but unfortunately for him he was just to injury prone. Wilshere would have been in contention aswell except unfortunately he had the same problem as Ramsey, those 2 were just unlucky.

As much as I like Özil & always will I'll accept he has been far to inconsistent, his attitude at times hasn't helped either. Attitudes & workloads they put in these days help aswell. Arteta & Rosicky for me are both equal so you could say equal 3rd. Arteta was really solid for us in his playing days as was Rosicky, as a Gunners fan I think we've got to have good respect for both those players, Arteta helping us win our first FA cup in ages & first in my time of being a Gunners fan, always had good respect for Arteta & Rosicky.

Rosicky ahead of Ramsey?

You're having a laugh.

Rosicky is one of our most overrated players. He didn't score or assist enough. He spent a significant portion of time on the treatment table same as Ramsey.

I'll even rate Ramsey over Özil. He was far more consistent than Özil. He has had more great games for us than Özil has

Ok I'm sorry I don't agree with yours haha, this is a forum after all, everyone is going to have different players & opinions. I know other people are going to disagree with me aswell, a few might agree with me in different orders.

You certainly would, I'd say AM represents outer society well in regards to Özil. Quite a lot of people are sick of him, some are on the fence because they appreciate his talent, and others will protect him so much it seems like they prefer him to the actual club.

Maybe the results are skewed where you live, Istanbul right?

Cazorla and Arteta were the most consistent and complete midfielders, but in terms of individual seasons they never matched Özil 2014-2017, or Ramsey 13/14

Like a poster said in another thread, Özil has more social media fans than Arsenal. A lot of the so called"Arsenal fans" are just Özil followers who wouldn't hesitate to follow him when he leaves

Oh ok so I just follow Arsenal purely because of Özil pfft, please mate, come on. I bet you even when he leaves I'll still post & watch, support the best team in the PL.
