That said, I'm generally indifferent - just don't get why everyone is up in arms against this - it's the nature of things with humans, isn't it. Money rules
Yeah I don't get it either. Why do UEFA have the divine right to control European football? A new competitor has come in to break their monopoly.

The only problem with the super league is the founding clubs thing, I see why they believe they should remain in the league (it was their idea after all) but maybe they should open up more spots to other teams or give non-founding teams a guaranteed two years or parachute payments if they don't manage to stay in.

We sacked Gunnersaurus as a symbolic message to all the dinosaurs like Neville and Ferdinand (were they demanding to be paid the average UK salary when they were at their clubs? No? **** off lecturing us about greed then) who would be against this progressive step.

Alright, so ESL is canned as an option - Boris, fans, or something else gets their way.

Then what? Magical la-la-land back to normal? Doubt it.

Inevitable it was going to be announced, but not inevitable it was going to happen, think there's actually a silver lining to this. A little revolution is good sometimes...

What a shocker too that you let Americans buy up your league and then they colluded with each other then brought in an American investment bank to finance it all. Who would of thought Americans would’ve thought it would be a good idea to gain a monopoly then change the format to an American sports league one. There’s a reason greed is a deadly sin. Like I said FIFA, Prem, UEFA etc are all getting what they’re owed!

It's all about the money. Give it enough time and money and the legends will sing the right tune.

If not, new legends will be birthed.

What I really want to know is will I be able to watch it on BT Sport?

I call BS on football being dead by the way. Hundreds of millions of people are still going to want to go out and kick a ball. Firmly in the wait-and-see camp.
Football isn't dead
In fact this is a new beginning
Let the super-rich Clubs organise their Super League

Make the domestic competitions more domestic, with local players, so that there's a pride in your team, in your area.
I couldn't be happier.

Ticket prices drop from £62 to £6.20 as Arsenal prepare for glamorous away days like Billericay and Wealdstone.

When we needed to spend to compete the club always dragged their heels.
Now that they are in a league where they are printing money and simply participating pays - you reckon KSE group will suddenly feel like spending?
Oh god no, you’re right.
