Kyle Walker was a meme on here before Pep turned him into a monster and are you people seeing Joe Matip? Midfield a tie as well? The totality of Kane’s career has to put him above RVP, forget the lack of titles this is about individuals.

In defence he's better in 3 positions, KdB is a distance better than Gerrard and probably makes up for the difference between mid Arteta and early Modric (who seems to be getting overrated a good deal from his Madrid days which shouldn't apply here)

Makelele is better than Rodri but Rodri is hardly crap, I favour your midfield but its not enough to make up for the crap defence and wingers.

The difference between the two team is not that big. It all comes down to personal preference. My attack is better, but @A__G midfield is better, no question. My full backs are better but his CB option is slightly better due to Matip. Irl, he'll be relying on kane to carry their to carry his attack.

Yeah, a big burden on Kane to not only score but create. He’d have to drop deep and bring Sturridge into the game but still get into the box in every attack.

Is it really? You put Kos a pedestal in the past:

Koscielny is probably in the world top 5 CBs over the last 5 years or so.

If he's that good, the difference in quality shouldn't be enough to dismiss that comparison as a total joke.

Stones, Tomori, White and Guéhi would all be quality options for a back 4 IMO. Stones, Tomori and (to an extent) White have all proven they can do it at a very high level, and Guéhi has looked seriously good this season but my sample size for him is quite small in fairness.

I'd probably do something like this:

To me, that's a ****ing quality team with amazing balance. There's zero reason for that team not to play good attacking football. It is easily one of the best national team starting XI's in the world player for player, but probably a step down from the absolute elite team.
