Nice little promotion from the Youth team for Dennis. Congrats!

Nah, surely not, unless he manages to fight his fear of flying. Otherwise the trip to Red Star Belgrade in train is quite a long ride...

Good for him, but to be honest, I never want him to go into management. Coaching, fine, managing, no.

No. 2 does as well travel with the first team all across Europe for in the Champions League, etc.

Doubt Dennis got over his fear of flying yet.

League is very weak
Sir Bergkamp can come back and coach, work on the training ground with the strikers, no worry about travel.

Man crush material too, our Dennis.

Legend.

Henry says he will come back in some capacity, and I think the same of the Iceman. He will return one day, and that day will be glorious.

Would be pretty incredible to have him coaching you, especially at that age. Youd think anyone at that age has a chance with a pro like Bergkamp teaching you!

Ajax seem to bringing a lot of old players onto the coaching staff

It's good to see him back in the game. I don't think he wants to become a fully fledged manager, but a coaching role may suit him. Could be a possible successor to Liam Brady as Academy manager.

Anyway, another Bergkamp has just entered English football. His nephew has just signed for Brighton.

I wonder if people can spot the common denominator among all those players and the transfer fees.

They were all starters, not 2nd/3rd/4th string ignored by their manager.

Ain’t that the truth. I fail to see people complaining about Edu take this into consideration

Leno, Toreirra, Lichtsteiner, Sokratis, Guendouzi.

Diamond eyes.

Leno was fine and one of the best goalkeepers in the league last season.

Torreira did well for 6 months but was unhappy in London and couldnt deal with the lack of a winter break.

Lichtsteiner was never better than solid for us but came for free and was supposed to be a back up.

Sokratis was perfectly fine in the 18/19 season but was hit and miss after that.

Guendouzi was raw but decent but Arteta's inability to deal with "difficult people" destroyed his career here.

You ignored Mavropanos who has developed well away from Arteta and Aubameyang who gave Teta his only trophy. So most of Mislintats signings was fine.

Arsenal Quotes

I want a fan to wake up in the morning and say, “Arsenal are playing today, I’m going to have a good time.” That guy starts his day off by thinking that something good is going to happen to him. And to do that, big clubs like Arsenal have to have the ambition to play spectacularly. Of shared happiness.
