Wouldn’t even consider selling him unless we’ve already bought somebody like Zaha. Top level attacking players just aren’t easy to come by.Laca is probably our best all around forward, but just doesn't have one real stand out quality.
Usually forwards that are shorter will be more agile and quicker to give them an advantage over bigger and more powerful defenders, but Laca is not very quick.
His technique is good, but not world class like Van Persie or Henry.
He is pretty good at hold up play and linking with his teammates, but it's not an area were he can really dominate because of his lack of size, strength and elite level technique on the ball. I think we need to sell him after this season.
He still has value and is young enough to be an attractive option for many teams.
Unlike players like Mustafi, Özil and Mhki where nobody wants to take their contracts and are on a major decline in terms of productivity.
I love Lacazette but still completely agree with Emery’s decision to bench him yesterday.
A front 3 would have been overkill against Liverpool and if you’re only going to start two away from home then Pepe/Auba’s pace on the break is much more threatening.
He’ll start the vast majority of our games but Liverpool (and City) away call for a specialised approach.

I think we can build our very own trinity like Liverpool have done. I feel there is definately a fitness issue between the three guys upfront and when that wears off and they get a feel of each other, expect a very dynamic front three scoring lots of goals left right and centre. His finishing is elite though. If a chance drops to Laca, I'm very confident of him hitting the target. I rate him alot, but understand why he didn't start on Saturday.
It's hard to keep up with your Lacazette rating. The more bench time he sees the happier I am!

Didnt you call him your favourite player at the end of last season?
I will add you to my weekly email update list so you can keep track easier!
What is your email mate?
But yeah Lacazette is my favorite player. Still not good enough to be a starter for Arsenal IMO!
Definitely lined up to be the next person people turn on after Mustafi, Xhaka and Özil are gone.
I personally think he's brilliant.
The difference between our 3, Cities 3 and our front 3 is the dynamic. Mane, Sterling, Salah, Mane and Mahrez/Silva (less so) hug the touchline as flying wingers, with an eye for goal, whilst we only have Pepe who seems to fit that bill.
Wenger would have loved him I think.I don't think offering width is one of Pepe's strengths, not at all going by what I've seen of him. I mean, for a wide man, of course. He is much more prone at cutting inside, he goes directly for goal and if he can't he still prefers to be in the middle to play a through ball rather than reach the byline for a cutback or a cross.
In a way, he isn't the exact type of player we needed, although our team also lacked a creative/threatening dribbler in general. However, that level of quality on the wing for us is still impossible to ignore, he seems to be a much better player than our other options so us signing him was great business no doubt.
