CIES values him at €15-20m so they're not far off according to science and analytics.
Transfermarkt too they value him 14M euros but they still didn't update the value i think it will be close to 20M euros.

Send him Norwich in exchange for that young fullback they've got.

They have two excellent young fullbacks, Max Aarons (RB) and Jamal Lewis (LB). Would take both, but have a feeling this is the type of Signings United will prioritize more than any other this window.

The same price we paid for Lucas Torreria? A world cup starter in a decent team, a year or two younger?
English players are more expensive, Torreira is not much younger than Chambers and barely any better and lastly but most importantly Torreira had a release clause.

Seems StatDNA would be more likely since Arsenal owns it. CIES is a partnership with Opta, FIFA and UEFA. Apparently it's not as popular here on AM as StatDNA.

Ahh now I get why people put down CIES as being good to have for free. That way their favourite and Arsenal's own estimation program automatically gets elevated. We can't see StatDNA estimations anywhere?

I’d expect to get around £15m for Chambers. Don’t underestimate his HG status, he’s still youngish for a DM/CB and I reckon 5-10 PL clubs would get him just to fill that quota.

Knowing how Arsenal handle things though, we’ll probably sell Bielik for £1m and let Chambers stay as 5th choice, before selling him for £5m in 2020.

It's not a question of the quoted 15m valuation beeing too high, it's too low.

Chambers is a 25m player.

Chambers is a 25m player.

But what makes him a 25m player? Tierney of Celtic is quoted around the 25m mark.

Before you counter argue that one is playing in the premier league and one in an inferior league, consider that Tierney is playing in a title winning team as well as playing regular European football. Normally champions league.

He is younger than Chambers. He is a specialist player in terms of position. Not a throw him in someone we need player.

He also has 12 Scottish caps and yes you could argue that it's easier to get in the Scotland team, but Chambers will never be a regular England international. He's probably 10th choice centre half or more.

oh, and in regards to the rumour: Can only hope Il Messaggero's sources mistook Chambers for Mustafi. Shkodran for 14m € to Lazio seems like something reasonable that could happen.
I wish that would be the case, I find it hard for a club to take on his wages, in addition to paying us a reasonable fee. Isn't Shokdran entering the last year of his contract?

Tierney doesn’t class as homegrown therefore doesn’t count towards PL squad registration.

If Chambers is a potential starting quality PL player as he’s arguably proven this year that inflates his value massively.

Arsenal Quotes

When we won the title on May 3-rd by beating Everton 4-0 as Tony Adams scored that iconic goal, we showed everyone and especially Manchester United that we could beat them. Thirteen days later, when we beat Newcastle 2-0 in the FA Cup final in the legendary Wembley Stadium, it was wonderful... I felt immensely proud for the team, for the club: this was the fantastic response I was able to give to those who had put their confidence in me, as well as those who had put me through all those difficult weeks when I first arrived.
