I can´t wait when the french supporters start singing:

Aux armes citoyens
Formez vos bataillons
Marchons, marchons
Qu'un sang impur
Abreuve nos sillons

:D

Its club before country for me.

I have a question for Arsenal fans

Would you rather Arsenal win the league next year or England win Euro?

Thats a no-brainer for gooners, The Arse to win by 1 point on the last day of the season (just to keep it interesting you understand) with Chelski second The pool third and the rest scapping for the last CL place. Sorted!

Club. Country is only interesting during a tournament and it's only interesting if you're country is in anyway decent.

Milton, do the Quebecois support the French team in any way :?:

Quite a few do, ties to the mother country i suppose. I'm not from Quebec myself (British Colombia) but you won't see me supporting England that's for sure.

Allez les Bleus!

Well I had some years of french in high-school - and our teacher loved us to sing it, when he was in the mood for it.

It´s a special song bringing back the days of the revolution - but other than that it´s the most impressing song of a national team (well, when the whole stadium joins in) in my opinion.

Anyway, I kinda spend a most of my holidays in France, guess you can call me "francophile".... :D

You're right Sammer ! It's from the Revoluton, the guys from Marseille were singing that, so its called "la marseillaise"
But, unlikely, many of the playersnow are not singing it. When I see (manytimes per year!!) the final France-Brazil 98, near everyone were singing.
By the way, even if they don't sing it (maybe they don't know it lol) I'm always singing.

And the words are hard ! L'étandart sanglant élévé !! Excellent lol

Next time you'll come in France, just stop you few hours near Lille, where I live - just beside the main road to go to Paris and the south - We'll sing la marseillaise together
