All minor injuries, none linked and most impact related. Nothing major or nothing that suggests a deeper problem which will affect his career.

Bad luck if anything, similar to Smith Rowe.
Yes, impact related but you cannot underestimate the stagnation and significant loss of development at his age. I'm not writing him off but you can't question the fact he's barely played any football for the past four years.

Would be happy to see him get proper going.
Think he was a shrewd signing with his development stuntet by injuries and manager changes.

Him, Saliba, Gabriel. We could have some young interesting defenders to build around.

but Holding’s hair transplant was painless
Hopefully he has a solid season and we can sell for 10-15m. He's just okay.

Shifting him, Holding, Mustafi and Sokratis whilst moving on Luiz would be magic.

Gabriel, Saliba, Chambers and a new CB of top 4 quality would be immense going forward.

Why would he want to come back and be in Gabriel's shadow? He's probably way behind Mari as well in the pecking order for left sided CB.

Underrated guy. Very, very complete CB. Had a strong game today against Dortmund. If he can stay fit he's going places. Honestly hope Stuttgart manage to sign him permanently with Arsenal not recognizing his talents.

No no no no no no no no. He's not ready, too small, too young and makes too many mistakes.

He needs atleast 20 years with our U23 then he will be ready for Arteta's master plan super extreme complex crossing "system".

You’ll probably have a good chance if Arteta is still manager. He might even give you Saliba as part of the deal.

so he makes mistakes, is what I understand from this.

Nope, we already have Mustafi for that.

Looks like he's been very good offlate.. But with so many changes in management will he even get a chance here? Sven rates him really highly and will influence him to join Stuttgart permenantly anyway I guess.

Really hope he gets an opportunity here. Should be a part of the CB rotation next season imo.

Could you afford him? I would imagine we'd expect something like £7m-£10m plus sell-on fee for him. How is Stuttgart coping with the covid-19 finances in football?

Depends where we'll put him if he 4th-5th choice he'd ask to leave if we able to get 10m from him it'll be good business imo

If it's 5 or 6m with add ons we might buy him. For around 10m? No. We've seldomly paid more for players and then of course there's Covid. We're doing ok financially meaning in terms of transfers we aren't forced to sell anyone to fix financial holes elsewhere, but we surely cannot spend a lot of money either.

Mavro has started the last few games and he's looked alright. There's definitely issues with his passing, rashness and positional play - but going by what I've seen from him when in form and the currently overall still solid performances, I'd still say this is very much him being rusty after long injury stretches.

Going by his few Arsenal and Nuremburg performances, his passing and especially defensive rashness should go away with more game time and confidence as they were actually standout attributes next to his physique. In terms of stats he's already up there again, last game against Hertha he won 10/10 defensive duels, he's one of the league's best defenders in the air, too.

If he stays fit he will surely get there. Question is: Is it good to very good Bundesliga defender or a top club for him? Right now jury's still out imo, as the potential is there, but irregular gametime due to injuries has hampered him a bit.
