Real socidad ain’t gonna sell now they have shot at CL unless his release clause of 76 million pound is activated. Not gonna happen. Unless they go to completely someone not mentioned all the names the media mentioned are not plausible. Not gonna stop the athletic doing the clubs pr

For €15m, it’s definitely worth the risk.

The thing is Salah is exception to the rule. Partly because Salah has elite level acceleration and pace. Cabral may be able to lose defenders and score headers in the lowly Swiss league. It's a whole different proposition even doing that in Ligue 1 nevermind in the PL. Just look how Pepe and Werner ripped up their respective leagues and flopped in the PL

If Cabral was at least Europa League proven he'd be much closer to getting a move to a top 4 league. Salah was at least proven in both the Europa and the CL before getting a move to a mid table Serie A team.

Also the whole 'couldn't be worse than Lacazette' is nonsense. Lacazette regularly ripped up Ligue 1

Isak will probably cost the same amount now as he would in the summer, especially if they get Champions League. You don’t know what the club are going to do.

I get speed and dribbling ability translate different to different leagues. But heading and strength is pretty much the same. I don’t see how nketiah is better. The truth is come summer time we gonna need a strike force. Our first 3 strikers are more likely to leave than be here. I don’t want us to have one striker and have unproven kids like bolugon behind him. We need players in their mid 20s to get balanced squad

Young though so they’ll be looking at potential to improve and develop into what they want him to be, also his record last season. All these expensive strikers are going to be massive gambles, whoever we end up getting.

Yeah true. He’s got some good quality traits in fairness.

Are we just gonna have a team of 22 year olds though? Like, where’s the prime age quality in this team coming from

Feels that way. I suppose the midfield will be the experienced part of the side. Xhaka, Partey, possibly Arthur are all a decent age.

What does "actively exploring" mean?

It means they’re trying to sign him before the deadline but might/might not get it done. He said they’ll try and negotiate down the release clause. That doesn’t mean they won’t activate (I’m saying that). We all saw what happened with Partey when they got desperate.

It’s not hard to predict what they will do. They are already in panic mood and the Burnley result increased the chances of a striker coming in. If we win 3-0 there wouldn’t be a striker coming. But Arsenal has history of panic buying last few days in Window after bad results. Tomiyasu was another panic but. He looks good, but only reason he is here is we lost first 3 games

Also Artetas pride is not gonna let Auba back. Even if the club has to pay most of his wages and loan him out they will. Arteta refused to say if Auba will go with the team to Dubai. He also refused to answer if he has to bring someone in if Auba is moved on or acknowledge if we even be short if Auba leaves. You can see he is in really stressful position
