Ceballos is at least gonna go back to Madrid in the Summer. Xhaka is still probably gonna be here!

I can predict how this thread will go tonight. Xhaka will get rightfully called out for another of his semi regular dire performances and Manberg will be doing his best Jon Snow impression trying to protect him smh

Spent first half standing near Wolves players so he couldn't be passed to. Got spun for their first goal. Once they parked the bus and he had an acre of space he provided some reasonable passes. Typical Xhaka performance

At least Ceballos is a loan player and has started a handful of matches in this season and previous season. Xhaka has been with us for so many years and has been contracted till 2023 while churning out performances ranging from poor to mediocre. It is no coincidence we forgot how to dominate matches ever since he came in. No coincidence we dropped out of top 4 after he came in.
Our midfield has been dire for so long. If we have a glimmer of hope to turn around this shipwreck of a season, it has to come from Partey getting fit.

Dreadful today. Performances like this is why I find it amusing people call him a "deep lying playmaker", he isnt. He is a carthorse water carrier DM, which is why he is useful in games where we are compact and defend deep.

Whataboutism. Is Cellabos our player? No. Will he be here after this season? Probably not. Is Cellabos considered one of the leaders? No. Does Cellabos havce deluded fanboys on this forum? No. So why would Cellabos be a talking point ahead of Xhaka?
