Anybody sanctioning a move for Boateng needs their head bouncing off the concrete. Sokratis, Luiz, Boateng and a recovering Holding, with Mustafi in reserve would be terrible.

We need short term cover for Chambers though. This is realistic as it looks like Bayern are going to get Klostermann. I don't think Arteta is convinced with Mustafi.

If we can pull off a loan with option to buy that would be a smart deal, then you go for your Koulibaly or Upamencano in the summer.
Only way this is acceptable is if they plan on binning Sokratis this summer and sign a younger CB.
