Watching Costa Rica against Australia, Joel Campbell has all the tools. He has 2 goals but what's important is his ability to dribble, his pace and coolness in front of goal. Would be a nice signing.

Kofi, does he remind you too of Eto'o?

He looks decent, he's playing left midfield it seems now.

Somewhat. He just had an assist too by the way. It's a tricky comparison because Eto'o is all business. However the whole Costa Rican team has a more laid back attitude which makes it difficult to judge him in those terms. He's also been playing a floating role in the front 3. He certainly has Eto' like potential in terms of his abilities but what sets Eto'o apart is his focus and attitude and it's difficult to judge Joel's in a Costa Rican team that has problems in that department.

Impressed by him. Good dribbler, good delivery, good pace and finishing. Would fit in anywhere in the front 3.

He got 2 goals and an assist?

Or am I reading this all wrong. Either way he should definitely sign up, as said we've shown an interest and clearly will give him chances.

His loss if he doesn't.

Yep 2 goals and a corner assist, he's definatly a talent. A very good dribbler who draws a lot of fouls. I can see him picking up a nasty injury the way he plays as he really has the ability to mug defenders off at the last second. I was very impressed by his work rate also. Done loads of tracking back and was deployed as more of a LM than a LW. But has abilty no doubt, my first real look at him and I'm certainly impressed.

Cheers for that Jay-D.

As I said before, his loss if he doesn't sign. Can't think of a better place for him to progress really.

Looks a right talent, kudos to Jury for being one step ahead.

His club accepted our first bid a while back, and seem much more concerned with progressing Costa Rican football than chasing money. All the clamouring has been coming from his Agent/Dad, and like ebouenolike said, it's his loss if he doesn't sign. Not ours.

Much better quality on FIFA site

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.fifa.com/u20worldcup/highlights/video/video=1486334/index.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.fifa.com/u20worldcup/highlig ... index.html</a>" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Also all the matches are streamed live on it as well in good quality. They have an important decider with Equador on Saturday.

Cheers for all the info Jay. Looks an extremely good talent. Might check that Ecuardor game out on Saturday.

Seems like Jury was bang on with this kid's ability.

Hopefully this is true. Looks like Wenger has captured another gem in the making and will get even better under Wenger.

Hopefully there's something behind the scenes but that Sun report looks very vague with no quotes, author or anything that makes it look believable.

Jury

A-M's drunk uncle
He could be from some estate off the Pentonville Road with a name like Joel Campbell! He MUST have gooner DNA.
