Few sources this week are running the story that we're speaking with Navas about a potential move in summer, and he's keen on joining us with Real Madrid strongly linked with De Gea, Courtois and Allison.

Would take him at this point - with Oblak signing an extension Navas is a better option than anyone else we've been linked with. On his day he's a world class keeper.

I would take him 100% hes not worldclass but he produces world class moments and has won big trophies.

Need a fairground ride like height requirement.

1.90m minimum.

Being tall doesn't make you instantly good in the air or improve your handling. Id rather an agile keeper with a spring and leap then a tall keeper who barely jumps and struggles to get down low. Navas is better then what we have and better then what we've been linked to other then Oblak who is unrealistic.

I feel that, considering Koscielny, Chambers and Mustafi are 6'1, and Holding is 6'2, we do need a taller GK behind them. I agree, however, that they need to be agile at the same time though.

Why so serieuse?
Nah, too short. The orc defenders of PL would have him for dinner. Note how poor Ospina is under long balls and corners.

Yeah, but Navas is gonna be 32 this year! I rather have a younger GK who has a lot of year in the tank.

Never fully convinced by him, to be honest. Makes great saves and then fluffs his lines later. In the Prem, you need a keeper that will command the penalty box, and I don’t think he’s one of those.

Would be a really odd signing to make in January, considering the needs at CB and winger.

14M for Navas is mental. That’s less than we paid for Leno ffs.

Should be all over that.
