• To all AM members and guests.

For the start of the new season, Arsenal Mania has relaunched the news side of the site. All articles are written by genuine Arsenal fans with no hidden agenda. You can visit the site via the menu at the top of the forum pages or go direct to our homepage

Additionally, Arsenal Mania is now sending all its registered members a bi-weekly Briefing Bulletin containing a digest of news and views from both parts of the site. Some of you may have already received the first edition and those that haven't should do so before the big kick off against United. If you are a guest visitor to this forum then if you join as a member, you will automatically receive the Bulletin.

Please support both these initiatives and help ensure the long term future of our site.

I really doubt Lautaro wants Tottenham but you never know.

Doesn’t Rate Any Of Our Attackers
Doesn’t seem like he’s going to Sp**s. Seems like they’ve all copied Gary Jacob and are starting to backtrack after what Di Marzio said.

So they agreed a fee with Inter but then Inter changed their mind when the Lukaku fee was agreed yesterday, but the English journos only found out today a fee had been agreed and announced it, and only found out it had been agreed before the Lukaku fee when the Italian journos denied the English journos report?

Sounds like good journalism and not at all backtracking.

Very very good shout from you.

We got White for 50mil£ but 75mil£ for Lautaro is way too much?

Ye no If you spend that much on a CB the "too expensive" excuse does not apply anymore.

Was on Vinai's payroll; misses 4th place trophy 🏆
To be fair Sp**s maybe are seriously interested and maybe they agreed fee not officially but they won't go for him if Kane is still around you don't spend 80m unless Kane is gone

Martinez would have been a nice player for the future but it's definitely not worth losing your sh*t over a striker that's just had a 14 goal season in Italy. Every chance that Auba and probably Laca outscore him next season. Sp**s will just have lost the best striker in the league as well. Some perspective needed.
He scored 17 goals last season in Serie A, not 14. He also got a further 10 assist. 27 goal contributions is a terrific return no matter how you spin it. He also finished joint 2nd top goalscorer at the Copa America behind Messi and Luiz Diaz. He's had a very good season and he's also only 24. He's on an upward trajectory and has been for a number of seasons now, he's consistently been linked with a whole host of the very best clubs in world football.

IF Sp**s sign him for this proposed 60million deal and we miss out then that's a massive failure on Edu's part, no two ways about it. Auba is very clearly beyond a shadow of a doubt declining rapidly, Lacazette isn't good enough to be renewed and Nketiah isn't good enough period. We need a new striker this season, circumstances have transpired that don't usually transpire that have made a youngish top class player available for a good fee with other top clubs preoccupied with other targets. These are EXACTLY the type of situations we should be taking advantage of. But we're run by two inexperienced, incompetent shoulder licker in Edu and Arteta so of course we wont.

Arsenal Quotes

I think without doubt that Bergkamp is the most talented player to have played for Arsenal in the past 30 years, for as long as I can remember
