Country: England
Maybe City didn't want to let him go before the game vs Arsenal, and Arteta knew all the time that he was getting the job, so he could find his assistants already.
How is John Cross still in a job? Honestly baffles me.
I would honestly take him for 5 months.Lol i watch today that big Sam is ready to take arsenal job. Get him in
People will always go at managers when things go badly but honestly our players been 8 months they preforming not at the level they getting frew passFans need to be patient. Pointless getting on his back after defeats. He should have a free pass to be honest. We place a lot of emphasis on the manager, but the players are shocking. In England you need two way footballers. Our squad is okay for Italy, not England.
Players who lack agility and/or speed:
Kolasinac, Chambers, Sokratis, Luiz, Holding, Guendouzi, Torreira, Lacazette, Xhaka, Özil, Elneny.
There are some players you can hide, for example one central defender and a central midfielder, but that list contains 9 regular starters. That simply isn't good enough. We have talented young players, but they are not ready yet.
Arteta needs backing in January. He needs a box to box athletic midfielder and he needs a centreback with pace.
You got to wonder how these manages know this they must watched him before
The fans are going to turn on Arteta, make no mistake about that.
We need to hold firm over the next three years or so, I think our pressure needs to be directed at the board as they are the ones who can seriously derail a proper rebuilding of this club on the pitch. Its as soon as the next transfer window where we need to be making noise.
When he was at Arsenal he was very good leader with mert wenger totally trusted themArteta looks like he could be a bit of a mean **** to some of our softies.
The poster who said we had people there until 1am because Arteta is rejecting us has got me rattled though.
Hire Big Sam as assistant manager and get him to sort out our defence.
Still think he lacks managerial experience and we wouldn't look at him had he been a Chelsea captain who became Pep's assistant.
That's obvious though? We wouldn't know him as well as we do now.
