Actually Özil used it be in these lists in his earlier years all the time. It’s his jogging, nonchalant demeanour that makes it seem like he is some lazy guy more often than not

Yeah you are right.. I don't know what his running stats under Emery was, but before that he was always one of the top players in distance covered.. His off the ball movement is elite.

Nah mate we're just never that ruthless. Remember the 3-0 win against United in 2015? Should've murdered them in the 2nd half and avenged the 8-2 but we just sat back fearing a comeback. We have deep scars in these big games.
It's true we haven't been ruthless for years. We hardly ever punished teams when we could go 5 or 6-0 up. The issue is we used to get complacent once we were 3-0 up and cruising. This is something Arteta needs to instill in the team and something he must have learned from Guardiola.

The sharpness that we are currently lacking in (counter) attacks is confidence and automatism I believe. This will grow once we settle more in Arteta 's system.

Poor attitude..
They are getting paid but chose to just down tools because they hated Emery?
They've gotten us all nervous and in relegation zone, all for what? Their precious ego's?
No what happens in the future when they decide again that they are not happy with Arteta?
Then what?
Players need to stop acting like princesses for once..
They didnt down tools. They just didnt receive a clear message, game plan or have any idea what they were doing. As Rio said, when you don't believe in the vision of the coach, you subconsciously lower your level. They are not blameless but seeing most played in their favoured position and having a clue as to where to be on the pitch really helps.

Had it not been for poor officiating and Laca not wearing his shooting boots vs Bournemouth and Chelsea, Arteta would have been 9/9. The man is really showing signs that he is a top drawer coach.

Our next few fixtures really look winnable and with both Chelsea, Sp**s and United shaky, a strong run from us should get us within touching distance of the top four. I'd like us to really go hard for the Europa League this season. We really need to get back in the Champions League.

This is the first time this season that I have jumped up and celebrated our goals. It's good to feel reconnected to the club again. On another note, now is the time to send an official complaint to the refs association. Not a single yellow for Utd was totally shocking and seems like corruption more than incompetence. We need to do this after a win so it doesn't look like sour grapes should the next result go against us. It's unacceptable.

Arsenal Quotes

Arsène Wenger's idea is not only to play good football. It's to play good football to win. In my day, we knew that with our style we could hurt teams and win trophies too. But we did it our way, with the positional game, passing, movement.
