Eboue was more than decent except for the last few minutes. The very second he made the first mistake every single idiot who's been making him a scapegoat for the lack of silverware in the last two years exploded, though. Then it just got worse. The last mistake was obviously the result of very low self-esteem. I wonder where that came from.qs said:outlaw_member said:Eboue was shocking
He wasn't though.

It's not just because he player badly though, is it? It's frustration, accumulated over a year and a half of poor performances.
If you want to be pragmatic about this (and if you put aside the fact that booing your own player is ridiculous), then you should understand that the boos aren't helping Arsenal either - here's how it works: Eboue plays for Arsenal, you boo him, he loses his confidence, then he starts passing all over the place and then Arsenal suffers from it. Seriously how hard is it to understand that the boos are completly useless and hurt us far more than anything else?!?Alfonso said:tactica442 said:Seriously, some of the posters sound like baby sitters.
A few boos would make Eboue play like he was doing today?
You are joking.
How long you lot are going to defend players like kids?
EBoue HAS to be strong. Or he can f*** off. Period.
Exactly.

Wenger is completely blameless to the fact that a whole ****ing football stadium boos its own player. And Eboue hasn't looked bad this season at all previous to his injury.King Puck Paddy said:Klaus Daimler said:What happened to Eboue wasn't Wengers fault in any way. Wenger expected a natural right back to do a job on the left side of midfield in one of the toughest leagues in the world.
Yeah Wenger was completely blameless
Meatwad said:you can't complain about wenger's experiments and then complain when the paying fans get fed up with the play of the experiments and let the player know about it. they weren't just booing eboue, it was wenger as well. that was years of frustration bottled up. it built from the groaning every time he fukked up last season to now outright disgust. this is NOT worse than song @ fulham, alex was an 18/19 year old player trying to find his way and the fans were disgraceful. eboue is 25.
