I suspect its not just about team fortunes, but also (certainly in my case) feeling sick that someone who in some sense represents you, and you look up to and invest in, may be capable of something so horrible

Fair, my post was geared more towards what I see as a failure in perspective taking. For the reaction to a woman's rape being "oh this is bad for a multi-billion dollar business I like, how sad for that" is to me - whether on an Arsenal forum or anywhere else on the internet - missing what ought to be the greater point.

It does appear it was Partey that was arrested. Arsenal have not posted anything on social media for a long time now and Thomas seems to be the only one who fits the profile who has not had anything posted on social media to state it isn't him or provide an alibi.
