Almunia - 9. Did everything he needed to asolutely perfectly today. Made one great save from the corner.

Sagna - 8. Fantastic performance carrying it on from the Chelsea game. He is our best defender.
Toure - 6. Lost every header he went for and made some stupid decisions at times. However showed he hasnt lost any pace when he embarassed Henry Camara a couple of times.
Djourou - 7. Won 95% of his headers, although some questionable decision making at times could have cost us.
Clichy - 7. Handled Valencia well, and was helped by Song a couple of times. Put in one great cross that Ade missed.

Denilson - 7. Didnt really offer much attacking incision, but ran hard and did the simple things well. Good shot when he hit the post.
Fabregas - 8. Involved in every single good thing we did. Some of his decision making is genial.
Song - 8. DId really well. He made some mistakes, but he faired well in the physical battles, provided good cover for the full backs, and his distribution was quite good.
Nasri - 6. Did ok whilst he was on.

Van Persie - 6. Some really great moments, when he showed his trickery. However his effciency in front of goal, and decision making in the final third were dissapointing.
Adebayor - 6. Won us the game with an oppourtunist goal, but like Van Persie needs to improve his efficiency badly.

Subs

Eboue - 5. He gave us some pace and directness, and then did what Eboue always does in the end and inexplicably ****ed it up.

Almunia - 7 - One good save, some shaky moments.

Sagna - 7 - Did his job well, got forward often and got involved.
Toure - 6 - Bullied by Heskey, but overall did okay.
Djourou - 7 - More solid of the two CB's.
Clichy - 7 - Usual.

Denilson - 7 - Did well, got forward created chances, and didnt fall over as much.
Cesc - 8 - Stuck his foot in, played some great balls, and made some good runs, played to deep though.
Song - 6 - Just seems to be caught out of position to often, and a little slow to react.
Nasri - 6 - Meh, injured.

Adebayor - 7 - Caused problems, scored the goal.
Van Persie - 7 - Constant threat, great corners, but should of taken some of his chances.


Eboue - 2 - He was okay if a litte annoymous for most of the game, lost his head late on and let Wigan cause us undue pressure.

Almunia - 7 - did well except gifting Wigan with his aimless long balls
Sagna - 7
Kolo - 6 - not very sharp
Djourou - 7 - solid
Clichy - 6 - Didn't deal with the ball as tidily as he should. But again there was lack of passing options around him from time to time (eg. Song being nowhere to help the backfour building up).
Cesc - 6
Denilson - 6 - did well in the final third. Didn't handle the ball quickly in the middle third a few times. Looked like he was inviting Wigan players to knock him over.
Nasri - 5 - ineffective
Song - 6
Robin - 7 - tried very hard and produced lots of threats
Ade - 7 - scored the winning goal

Eboue - 5 - Initially did well, then became out and out of the game. Shame he was taken off by Wenger in this way. But hi presence made the situation like 10-vs.-12.

Wenger - 4 - another tactical inaction and ineptitude from the manager. Obviously the team needed to be beef up in the middle, especially with Eboue fading out. Instead of asking his players doing 4-5-1 and possible put in another defensive players, the team continued playing 442 with no signs of tactical and situational benefits. Lucky three points.

Eboue- 7. Wigan's new signing was influential in getting them back into the game in the last 20 mins I felt.

Gallas-3 Where was he? Didnt see him all game. Shocking.

Almunia - 7.5 -Very good save, nice to see him throw himself in like that showed some courage.

Sagna - 7 -Was pretty good, i dont think he looks to comfortable with Denilson infront of him so he cant bomb forward at will but he does his job defensivly.

Touré - 6 -Looked ait shaky, used his pace to save himself from positional embaresment again.

Djourou - 7-Sound game again, another clean sheet with him in defence.

Clichy - 7.5-Handled Valencia very well indeed, we sometimes take Gael for granted i think most Left backs would of struggled against Valencia today.

Denilson - 6.5- Decent game unlucky not to score, with Song doing the defennive duty of midfield its easier on Denilson.

Fabregas - 7- 3 games as cap'n and 3 victorys, keep it up, nice passes to the front men tyical good vision from Cesc when he was able to escpae the clutches of Cattermole.

Song - 7- Did a sound job with the defensive dutys, hes the best we've got at the club for that position and his defensive know-how has really helped in recent weeks.

Nasri - Not going to rate, was ok but personaly i thought it was a cop-out that he didnt stay on the pitch, i'll take that back if he is in genuine pain though.

Van Persie - 6.5- Dissapeared entirely at times needs to be involved in the play alot more in Home games than that, atleast he was trying to stay near Adebayor this time though, Kirkland deserves credit for stopping RVP though it must be said.

Adebayor - 7- Easy enough chance to score the winning goal, was very good to see him go to the crowd when he scored though i cant help but think after the latter incidents in the game that they didnt deserve it.

Extremely poor performance overall. Static MF, no movement whatsoever. Cesc seemed to be the player there. The defense was eqaully as bad. Clumsy tackles and lack of concentration. Lucky win overall. This team is one of the poorest under Wenger.

I don't understand how a defence that didn't concede a goal get all 4's and 5's. Not to mention that they were put under a lot of pressure because of our midfield.
