Let's not kid ourselves, Mourinho was way too defensive to begin with. We all knew this when we saw our LB (Ashley Young) playing as a winger, and Darmian starting who has the attacking pedigree of a lifeless worm.
We killed the game with our approach. Mourinho knew this was going to happen. A manager has no right to criticise another managers substitutions. What about taking Ashley Young off for Lindelöf?

It wasn’t like for like. Taking coutinho off for Ox is like taking lukaku out for fellaini in an effort to win the game. Frankly, not really sure how keeping three midfielders against a team barely attacking made any sense.
That lindelof sub was purely a tactical one? It was a sub in the 90th minute. Not really anything else.
Lets not kid ourselves, Liverpool are a team that quite clearly turns up against the big teams and plays well against them. They thrashed arsenal, was in the game till the mane red vs city before they lost the plot and played well today. At home, they aren’t to be taken lightly, irrespective of the form. Even last season they struggled vs the minnows and thrashed city and the other top 7
Frankly I don’t really have a problem with the draw. Would have taken the draw before the game frankly. Take the point and move on. As Stan collymore said, this is not a sprint, this is a marathon. So far this season, this is the first game we haven’t scored in so nothing to really worry.

They brought in Sturridge for Salah. They took their most dangerous players and brought on two players who haven’t done anything all season. None of their midfielders create chances. Maybe wijnaldum but even he doesn’t create much. Only creators were the front 3 of firmino Salah and coutinho. He took all 3 off and brought on 2 strikers and an off form winger. Needless to say they didn’t create anything after that. Having Henderson Can and wijnaldum on the pitch when you apparently want a goal and taking off coutinho salah and firmino isn’t how you score. Against stoke we withdrew Herrera and brought on mata when we needed a goal because having 3 midfielders is needless at that point.
