All over.. unnecessarily dramatic win, in that we strolled through the first half and showed up in the second. It's never quite easy in this cup, and there's no excuse to take opponents for granted because they come from lower leagues. That's one thing the players need to remember.

Great that this 11 came through a tough sticky patch to play well. There are a few there who needed to get minutes and gel as a team. Can only be good going forward over the next month as Xhaka and Ramsey no doubt seek to form a CM partnership, Mustafi starts and Lucas gets more game time. AMN and Welbeck on the bench.

****ing shocking performance, another late winner from Giroud papers over the cracks. If Preston had taken their chances we would of been dead and buried at half time. Pathetic considering Preston are a Championship level team.
Expecting people to say " but we won, get a grip " and that is the problem, to many fans think that everything's Ok because we sneaked a 90th minute winner.

I know he's a forward but with the positions he's played in Lucas Perez seems like a rich mans Mkhitaryan.
