I'd love that signing.
If he is fit he'd upgrade our midflied.
we need an aggressive worker and fighter who can pass the ball well.
In addition he has a hell of shot , too.

However, I can't see it happen..no rumours anywhere else

well he isn't really fit now is he. Harry said he wasn't, and he is the one with Dos Santos, who couldn't get through Pompeys medical due to an appaling stamina. He wouldn't be able to contribute anything valuable until he's match fit, and that isn't for a few months. So the season will basically be over by that time.

maybe we can sign him, and not play him until next year.. let him get himself fit between now and the end of the summer...

Apparently, he's CRAZY for Barcelona to sign him for next season...

Anyway, is Appiah really that good anymore? I remember him as a decent enough player, but he's been out of football for a very long time now. He's played six league games in soon-to-be two years.

Is he seriously unfit from the point of view that he is just out of practise or do they mean he is unable to get to the required level because of an injury? If it is still possible for him to reach the level again then for free it would seem like a decent move to me.

To be honest we took on Bischoff so in hope he would get fit and be good, why not do it with Appiah.

im guessing that Appiah would demand wages that arent justified with the risk. Bischoff is a young player who has almost no experience at a minimal contract to try to prove he has game.. Appiah has proven (in the past) that he is decent, but in a severe injury layoff but he is likely to want 40k-50k in wages, which we wont pay someone who we have no idea if they are truly healthy again.. we already have one of those, and his name is Rozza

If Apiah does what the legend that is Tommasi did with Roma then maybe. Otherwise I dont see the point, I never rated him that high when he was fit never mind after all these fitness problems. I'd rather we gave Denilson & co till the end of the season and then buy a proper solution in the summer.
