I'll be glad to stop by A-M.
What about articles.. Why are they always so negative about us, and they love other teams?

I don't feel it is like that at all. In my country a lot of focus is placed on United, simply because they have by far the biggest fan group here, and so the papers try to appeal to these group. Fair enough.

But in England and on the web, I think we get a lot of credit for our style and youth scheme. Plus the reporters have a good relationship with Wenger due to him always giving press conferances and trying to answer all the questions. So when the journos like him, they'll generally write kinder stuff, and I think this can be seen by looking through a couple of sources.

Welcome to the forum by the way.

Wuss up people?? Hope all is well..

I've been visiting Arsenal Mania for well over 2 years now, mainly for info/opinions/gossip. But also to get my daily fix of humour.

If I ever become like some of the fanatics on this forum, please shoot me...

Hi all.
I’m Deon. I’m a 29 year old, adventure specialist from Johannesburg, South Africa.

I’ve been an Arsenal supporter for as long as I can remember. My dad is an Arsenal supporter and his love for the team past onto me.

The following of the Premiership is massive here in S.A, with loads of Arsenal supporters. My favourite player of all time is man who comes from Senegal, he played for Arsenal…….Viera!!!

Out of the current crop of players, Van Persie would be my favourite.
I’m looking forward to this site.

Cheers

PS: Favourite beer, Hansa Pilsner. Favourite band, Jimmy Eat World.

hi im a gooner. ever since i was a little boy i wanted to be a gangster. That did not happen, so i became a gooner. Back in the 80s when i used to dine with mario 'the ginch' mozarella down queens boulevard he told me supporting a team is like having a relationship with a broad-you have to put up with the **** and hard time to appreciate the good time. A piece of advice i have never looked back on.

What is my reasoning for supporting Arsenal? Well, just like me, they are fiery, full of unfulfilled potential, angst and have raw energy. I engaged in their founding values and now i find myself a veteran of 23 years supporting this great club.

Being a gooner is more than supporting a team though. Is about representing a set of values thats sets you apart from the rest. We are not yids, hammers, scousers or mancs. We are gooners. Take pride in what we do and act in a way our forefathers would have been proud of.

Didn't do my introduction yet. Arsenal sup for almost 12 years now, 19 years of age, living and studying film in Vienna, Austria (although I hate that country.. demanding a new society, sharing my bed with jesus christ, whilst eating pineapple for a breakfast).

Never wrote regularly, which might just be the reason why I never introduced myself yet... (is it necessary to get access to the transfer-rumours-section?).
Cheers, BIoodBrother

Yup, East London gooner here. Which fanatics are you talking about - the ones who are outrageously positive or constantly miserable?

Arsenal Quotes

As a club, we have an educational purpose: to give back to those people who love Arsenal so that they learn moral values from our game and how we behave.
