****, they're committing here!

I'd be more confident if they hadn't laid their balls out regarding M'Vila and Adrian.

We need at least one signing at this stage I dont care what age he is. Bordering on negligence doing nothing.

Squillaci has rejected a loan move to Brighton according to the Sun and the Mirror.

Why wouldn't he. Why would you go on loan to play football if you just can enjoy sitting at Arsenal doing nothing? I mean, either way, he's heading back to France when he's done here.

This guy is smart!

We must get a LB or a CB.
If we don't, and we carry on with Santos, every opposition team will attack down our left.
It would be madness knowing that Gibbs is out for several games.
The only advantage of this is that Sagna will be a virtual spectator.

In almost every area of the pitch, we are one injury away from having a very weakened position.
If we have an injury to any one or more of our GK, RB, LB, CB, DM or striker, we are in big trouble.

How we have got into this situation is baffling.

Is Brede Hangeland still a good CB?

Much as I would love to see Villa here, I would prefer we signed a top class CB & LB, we need a lot more than this but for this window these 2 positions are the most important.

He has declined a bit but that may be Fulham in general. Basically he is still better than TV5 or Mert. I thought of him a couple of weeks ago, as we have been linked in the past.

I also read recently about the guy at Ajax who replaced TV5, I cant recall his name, anyway he was linked to us, but not a strong link.

Just found his name, Toby Alderweireld but it was a Talk Sh*te link.

I told you a couple of weeks ago that he has lost patience with the mistakes. He is looking to buy quality CB. Who & where from i don't know

I thought he said he couldn't disclose who the 30m bid was for? This guy is a fraud

I would prefer Jagielka.
I agree.
Hangeland is still ok but is probably too old and slow for Wenger to buy. Although Mertesacvker is not exactly fast,

Jagielka plays for a manager who knows how to organize a defence well and I'm not sure he would make that much difference, unless he did the organizing himself.
That might not be a bad idea.

good morning on what promises to be another disappointing deadline day for Arsenal.

Few quick updates from ssn tv:

- QPR are looking to raid Sp**s today, Andros Townsend is the first going to join Harry.

- Samba has passed a medical for QPR.

- Norwich are chasing Celtic striker Gary Hooper.

- Wigan have signed Paul Scharne from Hamburg.

- Newcastle owner has arrived in his helicopter to push through some moves.
