I'm sure many will be critical of midfield and right back, but I think Willock, Bielik, and Smith-Rowe can make the step up, while Maitland-Niles will take another year at right back before eventually moving to midfield (saves the club some money so we can focus on other positions this time around). I could keep Chambers this year too.

Not a bad plan for that position, although we can argue about specific names (I'm still very keen on Hermoso, and less so on Zagadou). Could even sell Koscielny in such a scenario to fund a different, if we have faith in an academy prospect (Medley?) or the versatility of Bielik as fifth choice.

I'd actually be really happy with this situation, even with negative net spent. Trims our squad massively, no more bloated wage bill, good age distribution, players in the starting line-up to actually get excited about again. Think we can manage at CB while Holding is coming back to match fitness with Bielik and Monreal able to slot in during an emergency.

Would consider:
- Another CB (Hermoso, or another left-footed ball-playing CB)
- Also wouldn't hurt to buy another hard-working technical CM in the mold of Praet or Palacios (Ceballos or Barella if we're splurging), but I'd be willing to let our youngsters battle it out for the 3rd CM spot. I put Willock in the starting line-up, but it could just as well be Guendouzi, Maitland-Niles or maybe even Iwobi.
- A 3rd GK is probably coming in, but I don't have any suggestions. As long as it doesn't eat a chunk of the transfer budget.

Need to get Zaha somehow, that'd be a game-changer for us in attack. Get Zaha and it adds unpredictability to the attack, which was what Ramsey brought i.e you don't need to replace Ramsey like-for-like. After that you just need a decent CB and the Tierney deal over the line. Can't be beyond us, surely.
