He’s weird, does terrible for Spain but comes back giving worldie performances for us. He gets a lot of love from our fans and has the confidence but for Spain it’s like he’s that same kid again.

Hard call. De Ligt is 2,5 years younger and I would love to see him in an Arsenal shirt. He's also quite fast. Pavard is further in his development and probably better positionally, also about €10m cheaper if the €35m release clause stays in tact. Think De Ligt is a more realistic target for us.

We can't have Sp**s get De Ligt or Frenkie de Jong. Both top quality prospects.

I really hope neither will join Sp**s. It would be amazing to see Frenkie at Arsenal, but realistically I think we should get a CM in January and then I don't think we have space in the squad for Frenkie. You don't spend €50m if you don't have an open slot in the starting XI. Think he'll end up at Barca to be honest.

This midfield three would be great in the long term to replace Özil:

It's 37m € if Stuttgart don't reach the CL, which is kind of a given. Arsenal should be all over him for that price.

It's just two things: He wants to play CL and his profile is quite big since the World Cup - a lot of clubs will be looking to sign him for 37m. Right now there's rumours floating re Liverpool, Barcelona and Bayern.

Don't think we'll see Rabiot at Arsenal. Emery sees Rabiot as a 6, we've got Torreira for that and in Guendouzi basically a mini-Rabiot.

I agree. I do doubt that we'll beat the competition though, particularly Bayern.

I hope Rabiot will be available for a decent price in January, and I think he'd fit very well. Both him and Torreira provide more than a traditional '6' and I think they'd compliment each other very well both offensively and defensively. We don't really have a dedicated DM anyway, so I think having them as a double pivot would work well.
