England made one sub that game and it was Sancho. Lirerally done on purpose with the intention of drawing even more attention to Sancho. Sickening.

Imagine losing to this Netherlands (no imagination needed as it's currently happening), Löw would get the sack.

Not if they keep performing as they are doing right now. Especially since there's no Özil to blame.

They really can't sack him after few bad results and one fail in big competition. He did a lot of good things there. But after Euro 2020 he's done anyway.

They won;t need to sack him. He'll be asked to resign, and he will.

Good. I want nothing but misery for them in light of Özil's treatment.

Loew will never go. The DFB is his self built wellness oasis, made up of spineless assistants and officials. It's full of plonkers like Schneider, Bierhoff and Grindel. Contrary to widespread believe of them being yay sayers to the manager, the loss of Schweinsteiger, Mertesacker and Lahm has left the team without any proper characters and leaders on the pitch.

Loew has publicly announced an analysis and change after the WC, but the team is plodding away just the same, maybe even worse. Any criticism is cast off and he mentioned multiple times that he still thinks he's the best guy for the job. He definitely won't quit by himself.

And anyone seriously thinking DFB president Grindel will fire/make resign the guy he handed a two year contract extension to even before the WC, and then backed the guy after that horrendous display is off his mind. Grindel has tied himself to Jogi with his actions just before and after the WC, including the Mesut scandal. And Grindel won't take the fall too soon either, as he just secured the 2024 EC for Germany.

After 2014 it all went downhill for various reasons and since then he has proven time and again that as good as he was for Germany up until the WC win, he's now well past his best used date, unable to develop the team's style further, to adjust to new player material and so ultimately to build a new team after losing Podolski, Klose, few others and those already mentioned above. The core of his Germany team is mostly gone by now. The EC 2016 should have been the time to step down, but he's still here even after this year's tournament.

Germany is, for all its great player potential, on a trajectory back towards the plodding, horrible football and underachieving of the mid 90s to the Klinsmann takeover. And that's down to the DFB being littered with idiots and yes men, lulled by the talk of non footballing officials like Grindel, spineless and unable big mouths like Bierhoff, complacent in past success, and at the mercy of a manager who's so far up his own arse he can't see his time has been up for a while now.
