Wenger warns rivals of Euro hangover

Arsène Wenger has warned his closest rivals that one of them could be in for a European hangover if they were knocked out of the Champions League this week.

Chelsea and Manchester United are still fighting for the Premiership title with 2 games remaining in the league and Chelsea take on Arsenal this weekend.

But the Blues have just been knocked out by Liverpool and Wenger reckons it takes some time to recover from the disappointment.

The Arsenal manager said: "The team that goes out of the Champions League now - whether it's Manchester United or Chelsea or Liverpool - they will have a little dip because it's like losing someone from your family.

"You need time to recover from that. The team who goes out will suffer in the championship. That is for sure."
