Lots of barbs about Mourinho being a chequebook manager. Well Pep is barely any different.

People were talking about him improving someone like Sterling yet seemingly has decided not to even bother him. Also who knows how Iheanacho's gonna get a chance either with all these other young forwards coming in.

He's a chequebook manager whose teams play attractive football.

Yep plus he is prepared to sideline £42M Mangala after just one season instead of trying to work with him, for £50M Stones. Would probably also like to do similar at GK but Hart is a big personality there.

Gabriel Jesus should have been an Arsenal player SMH.
Zis.

Credit where its due, great planning ahead. Transitioning is always better when the old guard is there and with quality young players pushing right behind.

Look at the level of RVP, Cesc etc who were there with the old guard and young players after them on top of other young players. Better development and proper experience.

Obscene money though. Something needs to happen from the FA, UEFA and FIFA. This is insane and vulgar. Way too much money going down the gutter and too centralized.

Mangala's had two seasons.

Hart certainly looks a weak link but they need some home grown players so they'll keep him and Sterling should just about be able to squeak a place on the bench...

Aguero, Iheanacho, Jesus, Sane, Nolito, Navas, Nasri, Silva, KDB, Sterling...

Navas and Nasri (the dross in their POV) will absolutely be moved out and their team just got that much better

Like how Bony has been erased from collective memories...

Another nice little Man City bargain buy at £25 million+, 4 months after the expiration of his £19 million release clause. A man who has had no impact and it sounds like Everton might not even want him as a Lukaku replacement...

About the Sterling point, I think Nolito and him for one side is good for his development. You can tell he got comfortable since the move.

Agree on Ilheanacho point though. Even after his performances, he doesn't get a sniff? That's poor from City and Pe*

If he moves it'll be to a team who are good in the transfer market like Dortmund or Athletico
Dortmund would be a good move for him. Play under PEA for a season before/if he moves on next summer. They actually haven't signed a striker.

The stone that the builders refuse
I read today they had a Euro45m bid for Manolas rejected. If true they will probably get him as well. No FFP, the game is becoming a joke, clubs simply buying success.
like they always have really - at least for the last 30 years.

good business by city. Marlos Moreno, Gabriel Jesus, Sterling , Iheanacho are all excellent attacking prospects.

That against Akpom, Sanogo, Willock.... willock is the only one that has a chance but he is the same age as Moreno and Jesus and has done far less.

Arsenal Quotes

The only moment of possible happiness is the present. The past gives regrets. And future uncertainties. Man quickly realised this and created religion. It forgives him what he has done wrong in the past and tells him not to worry about the future, as you will go to paradise.
