Mahrez to similar to Mkhit. Schmiechel and Maguire would cost 60m between them, you can get much better value buying abroad.

Like who for cb? I cannot think of a cb in europe for £30 mill that is prem ready and will last us 8 seasons. Maguire is better than mustafi/chambers/holding.

Schmiechel would be a good signing, we need a new keeper period. Both cech and ospina are liabilities and costing us points.

Forget our forward line, our issues are the other end. A summer spend and we get schmiechel/maguire/shaw or rose or sessengon/and a marqueee dm then we are set.

Anyone who thinks we don’t need another winger/wide forward definitley hasn’t watched us enough this season. We’ve look absolutely toothless at times, especially in away games. One thing we could always be associated with under Wenger is dynamic football with pace and diversity in attack, this year we haven’t had that at all. The majority of the time we haven’t even played good football this season, in away games we just keep the ball in pointless areas of the pitch; there is no cutting edge.

We need a proper winger that will you know will beat his defender 90% of the time, it also gets the crowd up when you have a winger capable of beating 2 or 3 players in a row. Özil and Mkhi are both great players but they aren’t really capable of doing that. All the other sides in the league have at least two players capable of doing this, apart from Sp**s really:

City- Sané, Sterling & Jesus
Chelsea- Hazard and Willian
Liverpool- Mané and Salah
United - Martial and Rashford
Sp**s - Son

Then there’s the successful teams in Europe at the minute:

Napoli - Insigne and Callejon
Barca - Dembele, Coutinho and Messiah
Bayern - Robben, Ribery and Coman
PSG - Neymar, Di Maria and Mbappe
Juve - Dybala and Costa

Basically every above average team in Europe has at least two proper wingers, who do we have?

Subs: Cech, Koscielny, Kolasinac, Maitland-Niles, Xhaka, Mkhitaryan, Lacazette

Our squad is very old, we need a season of rebuilding with youth.

Fekir, Forsberg, and Mahrez.

Xhaka
Forsberg Mesut
Mahrez Auba Fekir
This would get ripped apart every match. We've seen Xhaka can't cope as a dm so how will giving him even less protection make him better? Fekir on the left doesn't look right, would rather Zaha. Hopefully Ramsey stays, he's much better than forsberg.

With good coaching it can easily work. Look at City.

Fekir is too sexy to leave out. Rather Zaha?...

Ramadan Ramsey is nowhere near Forsberg.

Nick Pope. Not been this keen on an English keeper in years. First choice would be Oblak but this guy's gonna be top class.

Stats back the eye test up as well with him, much rather have than Butland who I don't rate at all fwiw.

Just looked up his age, he's about to turn 26. Thought he was much younger

Great story actually, bounced around the lower leagues for years. Almost quit the game at one point. He's entering his prime now and will be available.

Fekir would be abysmal on the left, he needs a team to be built around him to work. Think you're underrating zaha, he'll tear it up for Sp**s next season. He's exactly the type of profile we need as well.

Forsberg is nowhere near as good as Ramsey as a cm.

I like Zaha I really do, think he'd be good at stretching the pitch out. He'd need to curb his selfishness big time though.

He hasn't got the end product of a Ronaldo or Robben to justify the amount of dribbles he takes at the minute.

If he just used his pace and worked the channels, think he'd be absolutely quality with us.
