Seems like emery has already kept an eye on europa. I expected him to drop Özil after making him play 90 min midweek plus not playing him in away games. But dropping Torreira and Auba is shocking. Auba brought us back in the reverse fixture. Sp**s have 3 very very good cbs. Need the subs to make a huge impact. Hopefully we keep drawing till we bring the subs. Huge risk imo this line up.

I agree in regards to Iwobi, he shouldn’t be starting. Most players at 21/22 don’t start for their teams this consistently, which says more about the quality of our squad. Edit: Unless they’re really good
I think he is another victim of the lack of direct coaching this squad has had
Mkhi Iwobi and Ramsey need to put top performance if they dont preform we not going to even threat Lloris

Choosing between the old crap player and younger crap player I would take younger one as he they are usually more hungry. Don't see anyone in our squad that actually offers what Iwobi does.
Also emery choosing matteo ahead of Torreira because Matteo love these game he always performed in big games he playing and Xhaka we need him because we need some who keep the ball and play long balls from deep. Torreira form been up and down lately i think emery made right choice
