His bad decisions hurt us more than them. Very lenient with them in the first half-hour but immediately started carding us. Allowed them to break up the tempo when we were on top and only go in one goal down.

Jorginho should have been sent off at 1-0. If that happens we get three points.

But what hurt us even more than that is that we sat far too deep in the 2nd half. Inviting pressure upon pressure. Luiz could’ve been off for the high foot towards the end of the first half...
It’s unfair we lost cos we deserved a point at least but hey ho

Disagree but even if you think they were good, once Kolasinac and Ceballos come back, Guendouzi and Saka go straight to the bench. And Nelson should already be on the bench with Pepe around.

Yeah Id like Kola back actually . Just realised how many senior players we are missing . Guendouzi is .... never mind.

Lampard won this game, he got outplayed at the start but he made 2 changes that completely changed this game.
They clearly targeted our left side too, which meant Auba was always tracking back and Saka completely gassed out which cost us big time in the end.

What change were you expecting Arteta to have made ? it's clear Pepe isn't willing/capable of doing what's required defensively and RN was having a good game on the right. What other options did Arteta actually have? The bench is so weak.

Yeah but it's better for our defensive structure at DM he doesn't bring structure or stop counter attacks. Our midfield gets cut open with him there.

He's a fan favourite though so everyone kisses his ass.

He's a fan favorite because he has positive impact whenever he's played in his actual position. Like the game against Bournemouth and today. He wasn't much of a "fan favorite" when he was being played out of position by Emery. People started to write him off and endorse the idea of him being sold to Napoli.

The reason our midfield gets cut open is not Torreira, it's the fact that he's playing behind Guendouzi and Özil. Özil did his thing against Bournemouth and Chelsea, but Guendouzi is responsible for being the all-arounder who tidies up the midfield and he's nowhere near being able to do that. Xhaka did it pretty well against Bournemouth and as much as I am not a fan of Xhaka, it's clear that he's a better player than Guendouzi.

Guendouzi is simply far too out of control to be a tidy midfielder. He needs to learn some positional discipline before he can be put out there.

Mikel needs to stop starting Nelson. He does the basics well but will never do something special and has no end product.

Chelsea couldn't keep up our pace and how we were stringing passes together in the first 35 mins, I guess all the kicks and tactical fouls brought us down. Lads need to have some more composure and focus, it's sickening how many elementary stuff has robbed us of significant points over the years.

**** Arteta. Why play counter in second half when we are just up 1-0. **** you.
We are capable of playing good attacking football in the second half, we would have won, but Arteta chose not to.
Look what happened when we went attacking in the second half we conceded. We were containing Chelsea comfortably. Ref and Leno cost us.

We are really becoming the laughable team in the league we are so far away from City and Liverpool we need a whole new squad all together and we need to give Arteta time to rebuild.
