I truly don’t get it. How do you work on a deal for two months? Without making a bid? How long does it take to talk to the players agent to know if he was interested and how much his team wants? Obviously it’s nonsense

they dont take over two months of talking. Im sure we have registered interest and were told there are several clubs the player prefer. So we just wait and hope none of them come for him. So I doubt we are talking to them or have for 2 months
That’s not what he said? Working on a deal for two months doesn’t just mean talks with the player or club.

Actually think this is a goer if we are truly interested. PSG looks to have done many other big deals, think we've got a clear shot at this deal.
My personal worries are much rather whether he's a Sanches 2.0, who's not up to it for at least 3-4 years, especially since the PL is probably even harder to adapt to than the BL and generally big small to big clubs transition for kids.
Talent seems to be there, but he just had a very mediocre season in an easier league.. we need improvement right now, not in years where you have your current Sakas, ESRs, Tierneys and co leave if nothing evolves NOW

He is very overrated based on his first season. He is a kid and an 18 year old kid coming to premier league in a position that needs experience isnt gonna do much. last wonder kid we got from france hasnt played a minute for us and we gave up on him
