2m a year would be just under 40k a week. 75k a week and he would be earning about 4m a year.2m a year is 75k a week? Damn thought it was less don't think we in position we can contract we already did it twice in January with 2 of our highest earners.

He was a free transfer, there wasn't a fee reported? In the space of one and a half years, we got this guy on loan for a few months, signed him for £8m on a lucrative 3 year contract (even though no one wanted him), and now we're looking to loan him to another club while part-subsidising his wages.
You're right, no idea where I got £8m fromHe was a free transfer, there wasn't a fee reported?
I think that was the Mari deal. Unbelievably, Cedric was signed on a 4 year contract as well... If they can loan him out it would be fine though, doesn't particularly matter about getting a fee which seems unlikely given the wages. You're right, no idea where I got £8m from
No surprise nobody wants my boy.
I never called it an astute signing, Rosie. You know this.A great many of us saw this happening 2 years a go or whenever it was that he signed. Just guys like @American_Gooner & @HairSprayGooners telling us it was an astute signing
