Half our first team staff were barely qualified. Incredible what we have achieved over the years considering.

I think this is one of the most overlooked issues associated with keeping Wenger on so long. He kept on the same garbage coaches, it's bad enough not refreshing ideas in the training ground but ours are just sub-par ex players from decades ago. It's why our best players have been self-motivated and smart enough to figure out how to improve themselves and why so many of our players go backwards or stall.

Exciting we are clearing them out.

I've thought for years now that I would have been happy enough if Wenger just kept his coaching staff refreshed and brought in an assistant that he listens to and Fergie but he just wouldn't do it. Maddening. His stubbornness was his downfall.
