Just keep Mustafi you mean. Chambers is not going anywhere with Koscielny incident. And neither is Mustafi for that matter, but getting a player will push him to not playing almost at all.

No, Mustafi he has to go. I just don't want us to panic and bring in a player who is not good enough. I'd be happy to have Sokratis, Holding, Chambers, Monreal or Medley. We could then bring in Tierney which would help the defence anyway. My wish would be to bring in Upamecano and sell a player to fund it but if that doesn't happen stick to what we have.

You do realize Monreal cannot play CB in 4 at the back? And that Medley is likely as error prone as an youth player as Mustafi, if not more?

I'd rather buy a top CB but if that doesn't happen I don't want to buy another player who we know is not good enough and we get stuck with them.
