League is very weak
Jose Antonio Reyes looks to be returning back home to Sevilla for 3M euro's. Might have made a decent career for himself had he stayed at Arsenal. I like him though, interesting to see if a return home will see an upturn in form.

So many ex-Arsenal players leave before they've 'made it' and then end up like Reyes as ok but not great players. Shame really, he was part of a very special group of players.

This does not refer to any specific ex-Gunner, but this is the thread under which it appears to most belong:

January 8, 1887, 125 years ago today: Royal Arsenal Football Club, forerunner of today’s Arsenal FC, played its real first game – not the December 11, 1886 match against Eastern Wanderers on the Isle of Dogs, which research now shows to have been unlikely to have happened.

At Plumstead Common, in the London Borough of Greenwich (SE18), Arsenal played Erith – a long-gone club not to be confused with the Erith Town FC founded in 1959 and playing in the Kent League Premier Division – and won, 6-1.

From what source do you get your historical facts Mike?

These guys know everything that there is to know about Arsenal. And if it's not there to know, they look for it, and often find it.

So they know things that aren't even fact? Is the blog written by Chuck Norris?
Chuck Norris can't write. Besides, we all know that the crap written about him is really based on Frimpong.

Yup

watched him tonight against Valencia in the Copa del Rey. He really could have been something special at Arsenal IMO but c'est la vie. He was a real talent at one stage-in fact THE talent in La Liga when we purchased him-how things have changed since then for us.

Two things: Neville ****s and his weak character, didn't allow for his progress. He had a lot of potential and I really liked him while he was with us. It was just not meant to be and I think Wenger was very dissapointed that Reyes didn't turn out as he expected.

Nasri making excuses as usual.

"I didn't choose Manchester City for the money. The Premier League table shows that."

Well, he's a mediocre player. The bench shows that.

Let him collect his winners medal there without having contributed anything worth mentioning, and then **** off to another club where he'll end up on the bench as well.

Sadly he'll have the last laugh when he is prancing around at Citys ground with the league trophy at the end of the season while we are looking at Europa League and probably losing RvP.

Arsenal Quotes

It’s not impossible to go through a season unbeaten and I can’t see why it’s shocking to say that.
