Love it how they take the ball into the corner if they're in the lead towards the end of the game.

I think the demo is out in Europe now. It was just a one day delay due to technical reasons.

The demo is great so far and i'm getting this day one.

I'm loving the demo even though the matches are way too short, can't wait to try Be a Pro season mode, i'll be that central midfielder Arsenal need
It's just so much more smoother and responsive and the player models look slimmer up close.

Where can I download the demo? Also, what kind of specifications are required (minimum) to ensure that the game runs on my laptop and how do I check if my PC meets those requirements?

Don't even bother on pc. It's like fifa07 and that was **** to begin with. It's either on a console or don't bother.

Anyone spending too much time in the arena mode  I just love running around doing random tricks then curling it into the top corner. I only just figured out that i can try freekicks in that mode and i've been testing with that too.

It's definitely not like FIFA 07, FIFA 08 had improved in the PC too. And FIFA 09 will too, only that the console version just had more attention paid to them. But PC gaming is still better than console gaming anyway. 8))

Terrible hot takes
^^^Not for sports games

and frankly I love the non-hassle of console gaming, don't have to upgrade every other month either

use the computer for what it was meant for downloading porn and other stuff

hows the gameplay? can you do nice little triangles, one-twos, etc? do the fullbacks overlap or is it like the old fifa's where everyone stands in their position? the gfx and full licensing are definitely appealing, but at the end of the day, gameplay is number one for me. i cant tell from all the **** youtube videos cos none of those guys know how to play. dribble dribble dribble lose the ball.

i used to be a PC gamer so i didnt worry about licensing so much with PES, but i'm switching to consoles now so i'd be interested to hear what the consensus is.

@YeahBee: Well it still depends on the sport game itself. EA's PC division for the FIFA series consists of at most 5 people, while the PC division for the NBA Live series have at least 10 staff, so the development team is not yet included in those numbers, just the ones to make it compatible to the PC and do some tweaks and such.

And I've played NBA Live much in the consoles as well. I'd rather stay with the PC version in this case.

In terms of gameplay , EA games have made huge improvement from FIFA '08, it the first FIFA game since FIFA '97 where I actually enjoyed playing it, one thing that struck me the most is the player animations, they got it spot on. Shooting really impressed me too, really felt I was puting my foot through the ball when striking it from outside the area, and finess shots really made a difference close in.

I still feel it is a little unresponsive - which is where I think PES excels. If you see that quick pass and press pass on PES then ultimately you can give and go. I find Fifa just a teeny bit sluggish.

If FIFA 09 is really sluggish go49oner then it would be very hard to do the tricks, which would ultimately make it pointless for the majority to do it.
