Franco Semioli

He has 2 to 3 seasons to prove it really. He is tied with us till 2011 if I'm not wrong. I think Wenger needs a little more time to teach him a little footballing intelligence. Abilities without the quickly taken proper decisions is made void.

Semioli, will be Arsenal 13/07/2006 - of Christian Seu; The Arsenal releases in pole position in the race in order to adjudicate Frank Semioli. Profiting dell' indecisione for Rome and Palermo, little inclined to satisfy the esose demanded del Chievo Verona, the Gunners has connected the contacts with the square gialloblu, putting sul flat della balance a figure estimated in 8 million euro. It remains to understand if the player, that he had expressed the will to remain in Italy, accepts the English destination.

From what I can gather from that, is we've contacted a square gialloblu for 8m euros.

I have no clue who he is.

He is 26 / 27 and 179cm tall. He has been around the lower to mid Italian clubs for some years now. He has good control and can beat players. Does not score many goals but with more quality players around him I think he would. I think he is been ready to make the step up to a bigger club but not 100% sure how the English tempo would suit him.

If he is that good he would be in the Italian squad. I would prefer it if we bought a new CB to replace Campbell and Cygan

Why do we have to buy one or the other? We can buy both.

He's too expensive I think.

I would much rather Saviola at 4m, who is younger, fits into the Arsenal passing game really well and who is more of a goal-scoring threat.

Why do we need to spend 8m on a back-up RW, Hleb is going to be a great first choice RW, and we have Rosicky and Ljungberg who can play there well too. Even Eboue if needs be, or Larsson/Walcott.

No, I really hope this move doesn't happen. Sorry for Serie A fans who rate him, but I would rather Saviola.

Arsenal Quotes

Arsenal was firmly embedded in the local community and had a very solid, working-class foundations. The fans espoused the club's values. This visceral attachment, from childhood, to a club and a team is something I have never seen anywhere else with such fervour. Every fan's first match at Highbury was like a baptism.
